Fantasy Fireworks
Fantasy Fireworks is a New Hampshire fireworks retailer celebrating its 40th anniversary — with a hard deadline. Their busiest day of the year, the Fourth of July, was weeks away, and their site was an aging, outdated WordPress build that no longer did the brand justice.
I rebuilt the site from the ground up on Shopify and turned it around in weeks to hit their Fourth of July deadline — and brought it in under budget.
Why Shopify was the smart move
Fantasy Fireworks was already using Shopify as a free inventory-management tool. Rebuilding the public site on Shopify meant their existing inventory work did double duty: the same catalog that ran the back office now powers the website, with no separate system to maintain.
It also quietly unlocks a path they didn't have before. The foundation for a full shopping-cart experience — online ordering and in-store pickup — is built in. They've chosen to launch with a clean, browsable catalog rather than a live cart for now, but the e-commerce capability is there to switch on whenever they're ready.
The result
A fast, modern, mobile-first site that represents a 40-year-old local brand the way it deserves, delivered on a tight seasonal timeline and under budget — with room to grow into full online sales down the road.
